Authmarks in your LMS.

One standard LTI 1.3 registration puts verified writing records inside the tools your school already uses. Students write with proof; instructors receive sealed records through the gradebook.

For instructors

Link an Authmarks assignment from the course. When a student seals their work, a submission arrives in the gradebook with a link to the verified record — open it and see the writing stand on its own evidence.

For students

Write the way you always do, with a free Authmarks account recording honestly in the background. Your sealed record defends your work — no accusation survives evidence.

For IT admins

One standard LTI 1.3 tool: OIDC launch, deep linking, optional grade passback. No plugin to install, no server to run, no student data stored beyond the linked identity.

Tool endpoints

What your LMS asks for

OIDC initiation / login URLhttps://www.authmarks.com/api/lti/login
Redirect / target link URLhttps://www.authmarks.com/api/lti/launch
Deep linking URLhttps://www.authmarks.com/api/lti/launch
Tool JWKS (public keyset)https://www.authmarks.com/api/lti/jwks
Canvas one-URL confighttps://www.authmarks.com/api/lti/config/canvas

Requested services: deep linking (content selection), gradebook score passback, and roster membership — all standard IMS LTI Advantage scopes. Grade passback defaults to progress-only; no numeric score is exposed unless your school opts in.

Canvas (Instructure)

  1. Admin → Developer Keys → + LTI Key → Method: Enter URL.
  2. Paste https://www.authmarks.com/api/lti/config/canvas — every field fills itself in.
  3. Turn the key ON, then install the app in Settings → Apps using the key's Client ID.
  4. Send us the Client ID and deployment ID so we can activate your tenant.

Blackboard Learn (Anthology)

  1. Your Learn admin goes to Admin → LTI Tool Providers → Register LTI 1.3 Tool.
  2. Enter the Authmarks client ID (we provide it after registering at developer.blackboard.com).
  3. Approve the tool and note the deployment ID; send it to us for activation.

Brightspace (D2L)

  1. Admin → Manage Extensibility → LTI Advantage → Register Tool (standard).
  2. Paste the four endpoint URLs from the table above.
  3. Create a deployment and send us the client ID + deployment ID.

Schoology (PowerSchool)

  1. Add Authmarks as an LTI 1.3 app (App Center listing in progress; manual install works today).
  2. Paste the four endpoint URLs from the table above.
  3. Send us the client ID + deployment ID for activation.

Moodle

  1. Site administration → Plugins → External tool → Manage tools → configure a tool manually.
  2. Choose LTI 1.3 and paste the four endpoint URLs from the table above.
  3. Moodle shows a client ID and its own endpoint URLs — send those to us for activation.

Activation

Registration is two-sided: after your LMS admin registers the tool, email the client ID and deployment ID to phillip.gimmi@gmail.com and we activate your tenant — usually same day. The tool is free for pilots.

Want the record without an LMS? The desktop app and browser extension work standalone.
